Just spent a wonderful day with eight enthusiastic participants sharing the practise of contemplative photography. We were all received at Hawkwood with brilliant sunshine and blue skies, couldn’t have asked for more favourable weather! The course which is a combination of meditation and photography supports participants to slow down and connect with the world around them in new and creative ways. Feedback on the day was very positive, so much so that ! will be running a follow up course in October, watch this space for more info!
Despite a bleak outlook weather wise participants were not deterred and armed with wellies and rain jackets they arrived with enthusiasm for a weekend of contemplative photography at Hawkwood. The beautiful environment of the College served well in allowing us to slow down our pace and drop deeper in to connection with ourselves and the world around us. The resulting images imbuing a sense of presence, simplicity and spaciousness.
‘I enjoyed the course enormously, even more than I had hoped. Loved the relaxed pace, yet time flew. Beautifully led meditations. VERY helpful feedback. Thank you for being so generous with your time’.
